About the event
The University of Washington College of Engineering industry capstone program allows companies to propose and sponsor a project for a team of senior undergraduate engineering students, who embark on a full scale design process, resulting in a prototype or similar end-product. Benefits to sponsoring companies include getting a high-touch engagement opportunity to assess student talent and recruit for jobs and a low cost look at an engineering problem.
These team projects start in January and finish in early June 2022. A team of 3-5 students puts in approximately 1100 hours of work over the course of the project, at a sponsorship fee of $15,000. Please visit our website for more information or to submit a project proposal. Additionally, this video gives a great overview of the program: https://youtu.be/Ydo9hw528X0.
